Terms of Use – Diary Event

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Diary Event app ("the App"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Use of the App
- The App is provided for personal journaling and wellbeing tracking.
- You must comply with applicable laws when using the App.
- You are responsible for any content you create and store within the App.
2. User Content
You may create entries, notes, and attach media (photos, videos, voice recordings). You retain ownership of your content. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have rights to any media you include and that your content does not violate the rights of others or applicable laws.
3. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how information is handled.
4. Purchases
The App may offer a one‑time premium upgrade available via Apple In‑App Purchase and managed via RevenueCat to grant and restore entitlements. Purchases are processed by Apple. Refunds are governed by Apple’s policies. We do not access your full payment information.
5. Third‑Party Services
The App integrates with Apple and RevenueCat solely to enable distribution and in‑app purchases. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
6. Prohibited Conduct
- Do not use the App to post or store illegal, harmful, or infringing content.
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise tamper with the App.
- Do not abuse device permissions (camera, microphone, photos) for purposes unrelated to journaling.
7. Intellectual Property
The App and all associated logos, design, and code are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or other intellectual property except for personal use of the App.
8. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not provide medical or mental health advice. Always seek the guidance of qualified professionals for health‑related decisions.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data arising from your use of the App.
10. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms. Uninstalling the App may remove the locally stored data in its container.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the App evolves. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance. The effective date will be updated above.
